The start of this week we dissected hearts. We learnt about the structure of the heart, what types of blood flow through your heart and we also learnt about lungs and how they inhale and exhale oxygen. I enjoyed cutting the heart with my friends and getting a first person experience. This was all fun because I have never cut open a heart and it was a fun but stink (because it was very smelly) experience. I am looking forward to learning and experiencing new experiments and tasks next year.
I am a student at Bay of Islands College in Kawakawa, New Zealand. This is a place where I share my learning.

Wellington trip
On the 16th to 18th of November the year 9 social studies group. The first place we visited was the national library an interesting fact about the national library is that it had the original documents of waitangi. The Parliament building was very interesting but very big. My favourite place at the parliament building was the chamber room because thats where the prime minister sits when they vote. My favourite place in te papa was the gallipoli WW1 place, They had giant army men that looked like real people. Over all I loved this trip and it was really fun and amazing.
