Bird Balls

Hi my name is Kingi and I go to Paihia School and this is my bird feeder. We made these bird balls it was mostly fat in it. If you don’t know what a bird ball is you can check out my blog to find out.

Athletics day

Yesterday we went to Athletics. The events were High jump, hurdles, long jump, discus, 400 metres and 100 metres the event I liked was hurdles I was in the finals but someone beat me.

Pet Mania

Last Friday it was pet day and we saw lots of animals the funniest animal was the goat it pooped and then it peed but the one that I liked was Isaiah's rottweiler and the other one I liked was Lucas's dog it was called Browny.

My favourite activity was Pack up but the girls in room seven and eight told us but we tried to ignore them but Jordan wanted to know what it was. But the one that I didn't like was Roll up.

I learnt how to write instructions.

Yummy toast

I learnt that we had to write instructions like it was for an alien from out of space. When Mrs Pou followed the instructions there were a few mistakes the first mistake was put the butter on the toast and Mrs Pou put the container of butter on the toast.

I learnt when you retell a story you have to do it in your own words and don’t copy and also I had to do speech marks and paragraphs.

yum Kumara chip

 We made Kumara chips and they were so warm and good I hope you can make some with your family. but they are so hard to peel.
